Successful bid

The English ECVET Team has won the ANFA tender to conduct the study "Analysis of European Practices in Accumulation, Recognition and Transfer of Learning Outcomes".

The main purpose of the study is to contribute to the European-wide implementation of ECVET by researching the existing regulations, procedures and mechanisms for accumulation, recognition and transfer of learning outcomes in a selection of countries.

Given the vast complexity and diversity of vocational education and training in Europe, it is very important to have a good understanding of the current status and application of learning outcomes at a national level across different Member States. The team will collect the data by means of desktop research, interviews and country visits; all data will feed into a final report of the state of play of application and implementation of a learning outcomes approach in the countries analysed.

The work on the project will commence in March 2012 and the final report is expected in December 2012.
