Study visits catalogue 2013/14
The study visits programme, part of the Lifelong Learning Programme, gives an opportunity for education and training specialists and decision-makers to meet their peers from all over Europe and learn about and discuss themes of common interest and European and national priorities.
The study visits catalogue comprises the study visits that will take place from September 2013 to June 2014. The catalogue is meant for those willing to participate in a study visit and allows them to choose the visits that suit their professional interest best.
The first application round to participate in study visits between September 2013 and February 2014 has been launched and interested candidates should consult national agencies in their countries and submit their applications online at the study visits website by 12 noon Central European Time on 28 March 2013.
119 study visits will take place in 28 European countries and will cover a number of topics of common interest to those responsible for educational and vocational training policies at local, regional and national levels as well as to providers of education and vocational training and representatives of the social partners.
Among others, the visits will explore ensuring equal opportunities for disadvantaged groups, quality assurance mechanisms in schools and training institutions, language teaching and learning, the use of ICT in learning, teachers’ and trainers’ continuing professional development and career opportunities, promoting of learning mobility in Europe, increasing the attractiveness of VET and cooperation of educational and training institutions with their communities and the world of work.
