UK NARIC is taking part in a project within the framework of strategic partnerships for vocational education and training of the Erasmus+ programme in the period from September 2014 to September 2016. Project partners include three other ReferNet agencies from Poland (Cooperation Fund Foundation – lead partner), Estonia (Innove Foundation) and Slovenia (CPI).
The European Solutions in Quality Assurance (ESQA) project aims to exchange experience and information on quality assurance in vocational education in the partner countries in order to create a good practice catalogue. The catalogue is designed to support education and training providers in tasks relating to quality assurance. The examples are intended to expand the portfolio of methods and tools available for quality assurance and evaluation of school and college staff in order to encourage further improvements in this area.
In addition to production of the good practice catalogue, project activities comprise study visits in the four countries, reports on quality assurance systems and dissemination activities. A comparative report on quality assurance in Estonia, Slovenia, Poland and the United Kingdom is available from the ESQA website.
