On the invitation of the Islamic Azad University, our Chief Executive, Dr Cloud Bai-Yun, will be delivering an address as a guest of honour at the 2015 ASAIHL members' conference on 24 May in the historic city of Isfahan in Iran.

UK NARIC have been in dialogue with ASAIHL (the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning www.oicc.org.uk) in recent years in support of international and regional collaboration in research, qualification design and curriculum development in emerging markets.  

Contributing to the forum discussions, Cloud will be addressing a number of important aspects in international and regional collaboration including:  

• referencing of international qualifications
• development of integrated courses, joint/dual degree programmes; and
• tangible measures of high quality qualifications of higher education. 

The ASAIHL 2015 conference takes place in Isfahan over 23 and 24 May.

The conference aims to create a forum to foster closer collaboration in education and research among ASAIHL member universities, and engage national industries and organisations in member states to develop institutional partnerships - with a particular emphasis on providing students with rewarding career and progression opportunities, on a global scale.
